Serial no. 1563195. Manufactured in 1943 by Quality Hardware, chambered in .30 Carbine, 18" round barrel marked “UNDERWOOD / 8-44 / Flaming Bomb.” Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. The original upper handguard has been replaced with a ventilated metal heat shield, and the carbine displays typical post-war alterations and upgrades from its original WWII configuration. Stock remains in very good condition with minimal handling and surface impressions noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
