L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE SHOTGUN 20 GAUGE LONG BARRELS (L2026-05288)

SN: 11907R made in 1916. 20 gauge side by side shotgun with 31.25" barrels, 3" chambers and fixed chokes measuring .010/.028 (Light Mod / Full) with about 2 1/2" of constriction from the muzzle indicating these barrels were not cut and were likely a special order 31" factory barrel that was left a little long. Side lock hammerless action with double triggers, extractors and an automatic safety. Checkered walnut furniture with Curtis forearm, original grip cap and 14 1/8" LOP to the original butt plate. Furniture has moderate wear and handling marks with no cracks, grip tang screw is replacement, metal finish is faded with an even patina and bores have some pitting but are tight and on face. Overall a solid gun with a very rare barrel length.
