Extremely well made reproduction wheelock made in the 20th century. Gun is completely functional and comes with the spanner wrench to cock the gun. Barrel is browned and shows minimal use. Wood has nice figure. The wheelock mechanism was such a complicated design that few people ever attempted to tackle the project of building one in recent times and certainly none have ever been made on a large scale. It could be a very neat shooter or a good representative example for ones collection without having to spend in the thousands.
