Scarce Perry Sporting Rifle. Approximately .40 caliber. Very fine gun with 90% of the original brown finish on the barrel. Frame has turned to a gray patina. This gun even retained the magazine capper. His was a spring-loaded magazine in the butt stock that would put a percussion cap on the nipple when the gun was cocked. These are almost always missing. Wood is excellent. Bore is very fine. Very fine Sporting rifle!
