U.S. Model 1818 Cavalry Saber. Blade is marked “NSTARR P HHP”. The US Ordnance Dept. contracted 10,000 sabers at $5 each on December 28, 1818. Blade length is 33” and overall length is 40”. Scabbard has a brown patina and has dents and dings. Good overall condition.
