NSN, circa 1770's, 80 caliber, 43.25" round smooth bore barrel marked "GENERALITEIT". Barrel and other iron parts are dark brown patina with scattered oxidation visible. Stock has heavy usage and handling wear with 19" being replaced on the right side, a piece . Butt stock is stamped with "UNITED/STATES", this is indicative of a repair Arsenal in Albany, New York. Escutcheon is marked "No377". Upper side plate screw does not engage and can fall out. Action does function correctly, holding at half and full cock.
