English brass cannon barrel blunderbuss by Barnett. The overall length is approx. 29”. The approximately 14” round barrel measures 1 3/16” at the muzzle. The bore is very good. The barrel, pipe, trigger guard, and butt plate have an even aged patina. The lock, cock, and barrel tang are bright with light pitting. The barrel has two London proof marks and the lock is marked BARNETT in the center. The stock is fine with sharp edges, very few storage dents, and no cracks or chips. The brass tipped ramrod is present. The action functions correctly. Has been overall “cleaned or refinished”. This is a very nice circa 1780-1800 London-made Barnett blunderbuss. Good eye appealing coach gun at a reasonable price.
