German Model 1883 Reichs 10.55 caliber revolver. This is a beautiful high polish blue revolver with checkered wood grips. The refinish is original to the revolver, not a later reblue! Manufactured by V.C.S. (V. Charles Shilling & Co.) No unit markings on the grip straps. Frame has Imperial Acceptance markings. Bore is bright and perfect. Action works perfectly. Probably made for an officer or official, as the blue deluxe and checkered grips put this revolver above others.
