British Pattern 1809 Brown Bess Musket India Pattern Type III British Pattern 1809 Brown Bess musket in overall good condition. Barrel has a dark brown patina. Lock plate is blank. Wood is dark, piece missing at front of lockplate. Front sight is also missing. Ramrod is not correct either, looks to be a French ramrod off the period. Barrel is 39”. We are sure this musket has some stories to tell!
