Serial No. 17665( Norwegian), made in 1941 by J.P. Sauer, .30-06, 24" round barrel. Rifle was repurposed after WWII and issued to the Norwegian Army and rechambered to 30-06 in the 1950's. Top of the receiver is marked with "CE/41" waffenamts are still present. Original serial number is 8648U, this is found on the trigger assembly and barrel band. Butt plate and bolt are non-matching, butt plate is matched to its Norwegian serial number. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Stock is in very good plus condition with no cracks noted. Action is tight and functions correctly.
