This NON-GUN British No 2 Mk 1 Enfield cutaway revolver was manufactured in 1933. It is in fine condition. The 5" 38-200 caliber (38 S&W) barrel is plugged and 1.25" at the rear is cut away. The six shot cylinder has three chambers cut away. The cylinder has the serial number on the rear, F. 22. on the side, and British proofs on the rear face. The top of the barrel is marked CAL. 38. with with proof and inspection marks behind it. The right side of the frame has "ENFIELD" in an arc over "No 2 followed by a crown followed by Mk I" over "1933". The action is extensively cut away so armorers could see the inner workings of the gun. With the excerption of the firing pin, all parts are present. The lanyard swivel is present. The checkered wood grips are cut away about half on the left and have a small notch on the right. The action functions correctly in both double and single action. If you collect British military revolvers or cutaways, this Enfield No 2 Mk 1 is a must.
