Custer Range gun, serial number 37846. 45-70 caliber with a 22” barrel. This gun has several alterations to convert it into a 1st Model carbine. The barrel is a replacements and the lock is off a later gun. The stock has the long wrist and the breech block is the high arch type. Neat gun that would be worth a lot more is it was all correct
