U.S. Krag Model 1899 .30-40 caliber rifle. Round 22” barrel in .30 Army (.30-40). Barrel with excellent bore. Metal is smooth and bright. Action works correctly. Wood is very good overall with brass escutcheon at bottom of forearm tip and shortened hand guard. No cracks or chips. Correct front and 1901 carbine sights and sling swivels. This Krag carbine should be a good shooter.
