Steyr Mannlicher Model SL .222 Rem caliber rifle. Very early Steyr rifle with fancy custom stock, most likely made by Weatherby. This rifle belonged to Herb Klein, a close friend of Roy Weatherby and his first investor and partner. Klein was a Texas oilman, as well as an author and big-game hunter. He was the first recipient of the Weatherby Big Game Trophy Award. Excellent condition with Leupold 2x7 scope.
