Savage 99 .38-55 caliber rifle. Rare model in .38-55 Win caliber. Early pre-war gun with 1/2 round-1/2 octagon barrel with excellent bore. Barrel has 40-50% blue mixed with brown and receiver is mostly patina. Buttstock has an old repaired crack at wrist, otherwise wood is very good.
