Colt 1911 .45 ACP caliber pistol. This is a British proofed World War II Lend-Lease gun sent to England to defend the country from potential German Invasion. The gun is Serial numbered 6158 and was originally shipped to the Springfield Armory in September of 1912. The slide was no doubt added to the frame for World War II when it went to England. Gun is very good overall and bore is excellent. As is the gun mechanically.
