Colt Black Powder Single Action .45 Long Colt. Manufactured 1877. Barrel length 4 ¾”. Bore is very good with strong rifling and light frost in the grooves. Action works very well but not perfectly. Cylinder locks up correctly but there is some play when the locking bolt is in the cylinder stop. This gun has definitely seen use in Mexico and has Mexican silver coins inlaid into the horn grips. Very colorful Colt of an interesting period. Note: This is a Black Powder Colt not made for modern high pressure ammunition. Do not shoot this revolver. This is a collector gun only.
