Spandau Arsenal GEW 88 commission rifle produced in 1889. Has been modified for the S(.323 dia)8mm bullet. Non matching bolt. The bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. The wood is good with dents and dings. No cracks. Missing the rear sight slide. About 75% blue. The receiver does not have any of the later modifications. There are 3 different unit markings on the gun. No Turkish markings. Very early production and still in good overall condition.
