French 1892 Berthier Carbine 8 MM Lebel caliber rifle. Produced at the Chatell Rault Arsenal in 1893. The serial numbers on the barrel, bolt body, stock and trigger guard are matching. The bolt body and trigger guard were scrubbed and renumbered. The wood has a couple of arsenal patches. Very good bore. Very good overall condition.
