U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock pistol by R. Johnson. Dated 1840. Action works perfectly. Gun is very sharp and shows light use. It has a surface light patina. The wood is excellent with raised grain, sharp lines and edges and perfect cartouches. This is a very fine example of an 1836 U.S. Martial flintlock.
