Tranter Model 1863 Army revolver. Approximately .44 caliber, 6 shot, 6" barrel. Gun is made from the large frame Tranter Percussion. This is a cartridge revolver. Double action only and uses a rebounding floating firing pin mounted in the frame. Barrel marked "Deane & Sons, 30 King William St. London". Grips are excellent. Gun has an old refinish. This is a large heavy revolver that was meant to last a long time!
