U.S. Model 1833 Ames Dragoon saber. Blade length is approximately 34”. Ricosso is marked “Ames Cutler Springfield 1837”. Leather and wire wrap are excellent. Scabbard has a gray and brown patina with a couple of minor dings. These were the United States first regulation sword. Very good overall condition.
