Zastava M57 pistol 7.62×25mm (L2025-08489)

Serial number X74750. Made in 1969 with a 4.6-inch round barrel that has strong visible rifling. The M57 is a modified & unlicensed derivative of the Soviet TT-33 Tokarev pistol that has longer grip length & therefore greater magazine capacity. It was the standard service pistol of the Yugoslav People's Army from 1961 until the early 1990s. The top of the slide is marked with the crest of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia which represents the unity of the country's six federal republics: Bosnia/Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia & Slovenia. The plastic grips are marked "SFRJ" for the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Condition overall is good with original factory blued finish across the metallic parts that has oxidized in a few places on the slide. There is also some oxidation where the grips meet the frame. Century Arms import mark on the bottom of the trigger guard. Comes with an aftermarket 9-round magazine.
