Previously sold
Serial No. 150930, manufactured circa 1940–1945, chambered in .38 caliber with a 5” octagonal barrel. The bore is good, showing light frosting in the grooves with rifling remaining strong. This revolver retains its correct matte black “War Finish,” a production expedient adopted during WWII in which final polishing was omitted to accelerate output for military needs. Finish shows expected high-edge wear consistent with service use, while remaining in overall very good condition. Mechanically sound, the action indexes correctly and exhibits a tight lockup, making this an honest wartime example of a British service revolver produced under war.
