Serial No. 143401, made in 1944, .38 caliber, 5” octagonal barrel. Bore is bright with light oxidation noted in grooves; rifling remains strong. Finish is thinning to a grey patina with light surface oxidation present. Left side of frame is marked “WAR FINISH”. Serial numbers are matching, grips are very good with light handling wear noted. Lanyard lop has been removed, action indexes correctly with a tight lock up.
