Serial no. BB2013. Manufactured in 1942 at Soviet Factory No. 74, chambered in 7.62x54R, 27" round barrel. Bore is good with strong, well-defined rifling noted. The rifle underwent a post-war Russian arsenal refurbishment and remains in overall very good condition, showing an attractive military appearance with light handling and service wear. The SVT-40 was one of the Soviet Union’s principal semi-automatic service rifles of WWII and remains a desirable addition to any Eastern Front collection. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Rifle comes complete with bayonet.
