Serial No. R0818, manufactured in 1943 at the Tula Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R with a 28 ¾” round barrel. Originally configured as a PU sniper, the left side of the receiver shows evidence of scope mount holes that have since been filled. Metal finish has thinned to a grey patina, though factory markings on the receiver remain sharp and clear. Serial numbers are non-matching. Stock exhibits expected handling wear but remains in very good overall condition. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid example of a wartime Mosin-Nagant.
