WWII Japanese Type 2 Paratrooper Rifle by Nagoya Arsenal – 7.7x58mm (L2025-13179)

Serial No. 11754, manufactured circa 1942–1945, 7.7x58mm, 25½" round barrel. Bore is bright, showing light frosting with strong rifling present. Serial numbers and part numbers are fully matching throughout, a desirable feature on Type 2 paratrooper rifles. Partial mum remains on the receiver, consistent with rifles surrendered at the end of the war, and was also done in the field. Stock shows light, honest handling impressions from field use, but remains solid with no cracks noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A clean, matching example of a scarce Japanese Type 2 paratrooper rifle.
