Serial no. 4458. Manufactured in December 1943 (Showa 18.12) at the Nagoya Arsenal Toriimatsu Factory, chambered in 8x22mm Nambu, 4.6" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are non-matching. Approximately 60% of the original blue finish remains, while the grips are in excellent condition. The December 1943 production date places this example in the midst of Japan's wartime manufacturing period, before the more simplified late-war production changes became common. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
