Serial No. 54064, made December 1938, 8x22mm, 4 ½” round barrel. Produced at the Tokyo Gas & Electric Kokubunji Factory, this is an early-production Type 14 pistol. Serial numbers are matching, although the firing pin and grips are unmarked, as occasionally seen with earlier pistols. The majority of the original blue finish has thinned to a grey patina, with approximately 30% blue remaining on the barrel and upper slide. Grips are in good condition with light handling wear noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
