WWII Japanese Nagoya Arsenal Series 1 Type 99 Bolt-Action Rifle – 7.7×58mm (L2025-12455)

Serial No. 35420, manufactured late 1941 to early 1942, 7.7×58mm, 26" round barrel. A solid early-war Series 1 Type 99 retaining much of its correct configuration. Serial numbers are matching with the exception of the safety knob, which is numbered 400. The mum remains intact, showing only light superficial grinding marks—an uncommon and desirable feature for an early Type 99. The rifle retains its early-style stock with dual drain holes, characteristic of first-run Nagoya production. Stock wood shows light handling impressions but remains in overall very good condition. As typical for many battlefield-carried rifles, the anti-aircraft wings and monopod have been removed. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A desirable, early-war Nagoya Series 1 Type 99 with intact mum and honest field wear.
