Serial no. 471393. Manufactured circa late 1943 by Inland Manufacturing Division, chambered in .30 Carbine,18" barrel marked “Saginaw S.G. DIV./General Motors.” The carbine remains in overall very good condition with a clean, serviceable appearance. It has been upgraded with typical post-war features including a bayonet lug, flip safety, and adjustable rear sight, reflecting arsenal updates during continued service life. Inland was the largest producer of M1 Carbines during WWII, and examples such as this often saw refurbishment and reissue after the war. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly. The carbine is accompanied by a U.S. M4 Imperial bayonet with U.S. M8A1 B.M. Co. scabbard, a 1952-dated magazine pouch, and a reproduction carrying case.
