Serial no. 612276. Manufactured in 1943 by Inland Manufacturing Division, chambered in .30 Carbine,18" round barrel marked “INLAND MFG DIV/GENERAL MOTORS/8-43.” The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. This carbine has been upgraded with typical post-war features including a bayonet lug, flip safety, and adjustable rear sight, reflecting arsenal updates during continued service life. The low wood stock is in overall very good condition with minimal handling marks noted. A rack number “1163” has been applied to the right side, with the serial number “612276” present on the left side. Inland was the largest producer of M1 Carbines during WWII, and these rifles saw extensive service across multiple theaters. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
