Serial No. 575933, made June–July 1943, .30 Carbine, 18” round barrel marked “ROCK-OLA / 6-43”, confirming correct wartime production. This rifle is a scarce example of one of approximately 1,900 receivers originally produced by Inland and transferred to Rock-Ola, who then marked over the Inland name and stamped their own. The receiver is marked “INLAND” with a line-out, followed by “575933 / ROCK-OLA”, a clear indicator of this inter-factory receiver transfer, which occurred to keep Rock-Ola production on schedule. The recoil shield is also Rock-Ola marked. The carbine has undergone post-war arsenal upgrades, including a bayonet lug barrel band marked “SI”, and retains the original flat bolt. Rear sight has been updated to a Type III adjustable sight, marked “i.r.c.o.”. Stock is in very good condition, featuring the early “I”-cut sling slot, with light handling impressions. Inside the sling well is marked “RMC”, denoting Rock-Ola production, and faint cartouches are also present. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Rifle comes with its original box and CMP paperwork. A highly collectible and increasingly hard-to-find Inland “line-out” Rock-Ola variant, representing one of the more unique production anomalies among WWII M1 Carbines. Consignment
