Original WWII German RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst) hewer dagger manufactured by Carl Julius Krebs of Solingen. Features a 9¾” heavy blade acid-etched with the “Arbeit Adelt” (Work Ennobles) motto. verse is clearly marked: “RADJ / GES. GESCH. / CARL JULIUS KERBS SOLINGEN.” Blade shows scattered Staining, but both the motto and maker’s mark remain sharp and well-defined. The stag horn grips are intact, and the silver- and nickel-plated fittings show light flaking from age. Scabbard is in good condition, with the finish thinning to a plum/grey patina. A solid example of a wartime RAD enlisted man’s dagger from a respected Solingen maker.
