Serial No. LRS508f, made in 1942, 8mm, 22 14" round barrel. This MG42 was made in Berlin by Maschinenbau und Gerätebau GmbH (“MAGET”) in 1942. It is in overall very good condition with only limited handling wear consistent with military service. It is equipped with a wooden buttstock, Bakelite plastic grips, an original World War II bipod and a leather sling.
