Serial no. 9673. Manufactured in 1942, the final year of G.33/40 production, chambered in 8mm Mauser, 19.3" round barrel. Bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Receiver is marked “dot/1942,” identifying production by Waffenwerke Brünn. The bolt retains Waffenamt markings and is marked “N7” underneath. The original finish is beginning to thin, while the stock shows faint Waffenamt proofs just below the stock disk. The G.33/40 was a compact Mauser-pattern carbine developed primarily for German mountain troops, with 1942 examples representing the final production of this distinctive WWII rifle. Rifle comes with bayonet. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
