WWII British No.4 Mk.I (T) Sniper Rifle .303 British (L2026-06612)

Serial no. L30940. Manufactured in 1944, chambered in .303 British,25" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers on the bolt, receiver, and magazine are matching. The right side of the receiver is marked “ENGLAND.” The scope mount is marked “AM1659,” while the scope is marked “TEL. STG. NO.32 MK3/OS 2039A No.18627.” Optics show light cloudiness but remain clear and usable. The stock is good, showing light handling impressions consistent with service use. The No.4 Mk.I (T) was the standard British sniper rifle of WWII, selected for accuracy from standard No.4 rifles and fitted with precision optics for sniper service. These rifles saw extensive use with British and Commonwealth sniper units throughout the latter stages of the war and into the post-war era. The rifle comes equipped with a bayonet.
