Serial no. 8373. Manufactured circa the 1940s, chambered in .38/200 (.38 S&W), 5" octagonal barrel. Bore is good with frosting noted in the grooves while rifling remains strong. Approximately 40% of the original finish remains, with the balance having aged to an even grey patina. Serial numbers are matching. Cylinder is marked “S.P.T. 41,” indicating a 1941 replacement, while the rear grip strap is prominently marked “H.K.P. 2612,” documenting subsequent issue to the Hong Kong Police. Action indexes correctly with a tight lockup.
