Serial No. 136807, manufactured in December 1917, .30-06 Springfield, 26” round barrel marked “E / Flaming Bomb / 9-18.” Metal surfaces on the barrel and receiver have developed an even grey/brown patina. Rifle remains in its original WWI configuration, showing no evidence of later arsenal upgrades. Stock exhibits scattered handling marks with a crack noted on the upper forearm. Action is smooth and functions correctly. An honest, well-used example of a WWI Eddystone Model 1917, showing the character and wear of a rifle that undoubtedly saw service and history.
