Serial No. 651273, manufactured in June of 1918, chambered in .30-06 with a 26” round barrel marked “R / Flaming Bomb / 8-18.” Overall, the rifle remains in very good condition. The bolt is marked “W,” and the left side of the receiver bears the U.S. Ordnance flaming bomb stamp. The stock is excellent, showing only light handling impressions. Forward and rear portions of the trigger guard are stamped with eagle head inspection marks over “339.” The action is smooth and functions correctly. The Model 1917 was America’s most widely issued rifle during WWI, valued for its robust design and accuracy.
