Serial No. 53287, manufactured 1916, 7.62x38mmR, 4.5” round barrel. This is a classic Imperial Russian Model 1895 Nagant revolver, manufactured in 1916 and chambered in 7.62x38mmR. This example has been arsenal refinished, retaining approximately 98% of its blued finish, with sharp factory markings clearly visible on the frame and barrel. The brown checkered grips remain crisp and show minimal wear. The action indexes properly, with a tight lock-up in both single- and double-action modes. These revolvers remained in Russian and Soviet service from WWI through WWII, and this piece represents an authentic WWI production. Included is a brown leather military holster, complete with cleaning rod, lanyard, and takedown tool, adding value for collectors and historical display. A fine, well-preserved example of Russia’s most distinctive wartime sidearm.
