Serial No. 189948, manufactured in May 1918, .30-06 Springfield, 26” round barrel marked “W / Flaming Bomb / 2-19.” Rifle was re-arsenal for WWII, as indicated by the “AOH / 3GM-K” cartouches on the right side of the stock and the parkerized finish. Stock shows light handling marks consistent with arsenal service. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A fine example of a WWI-produced Remington M1917 rifle that continued service through the Second World War.
