Serial No. N2840, manufactured in 1916 by the London Small Arms Co., originally chambered in .303 British and later converted to .410 bore. Features a 25” round barrel and retains matching serial numbers on the bolt and nose cap. Socket is re-marked “.410 / RFI / 1931”, denoting the Rifle Factory Ishapore conversion date. This example retains its military pattern fixed magazine and original 1916 manufacturer markings on the right side of the socket. Metal finish shows consistent age with use, and the action is smooth and fully functional. A historically significant and increasingly collectible example of post-WWI British and colonial firearms adaptation.
