WWI Italian Model 91/24 Short Rifle 6.5x52mm Carcano (L2026-10928)

Serial no. RF6935. Originally manufactured in 1917 and subsequently converted from a Model 1891 long rifle to the shortened 91/24 configuration in 1925, chambered in 6.5x52mm Carcano, 18" round barrel. Bore is good with light frosting noted in the grooves, while the rifling remains strong. The receiver is marked “FARE/25/TERNI,” indicating its 1925 Terni arsenal conversion. Serial numbers are non-matching. The rifle displays expected handling and service wear consistent with its military use. An interesting interwar conversion of a WWI-production Italian service rifle.
