Serial No. FL27065, manufactured in 1916 at Manufacture d’Armes de Saint-Étienne, chambered in 8mm Lebel with a 32" round barrel. The bore is good with strong, well-defined rifling. Serial numbers are matching throughout, a desirable feature on Lebel rifles. Metal surfaces have thinned to an even grey patina, and the stock shows expected handling and service wear consistent with wartime use. This rifle was refurbished in 1925, reflecting continued French military service between the wars. Overall presentation is honest and well preserved for a WWI-era Lebel.
