Serial number 578829. Made in 1918. 45 ACP caliber with a 5” barrel. This is a nice sharp gun that has been refinished. The grips show a lot of handling wear. The main spring housing has been notched. In 1918, a massive amount of 1911s were made in preparation for the 1919 surge that never happened.
