Serial No. 444367, manufactured in April 1918, .30-06 Springfield, 26” round barrel marked “J.A. / Flaming Bomb.” The Johnson Automatics–produced barrel indicates this rifle was arsenal-upgraded during World War II. Rifle remains in very good overall condition, showing light handling and storage impressions on the stock and metal surfaces. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A fine example of a WWI-produced Eddystone Model 1917 that saw continued service through U.S. rearmament efforts in WWII, combining two eras of American military production.
