WWI Eddystone Model 1917 Bolt Action Rifle .30-06 with Bayonet (L2026-09469)

Serial no. 985943. Manufactured circa September 1918 at Eddystone, chambered in .30-06 Springfield, 26" round barrel marked “E/Flaming Bomb/8-18.” Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. The rifle remains in overall very good condition, with the stock showing expected handling impressions and a faint arsenal rebuild cartouche visible on the left side. Produced during the final months of WWI, Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly. Rifle comes complete with a Model 1917 bayonet and scabbard, making for an attractive and well-presented WWI U.S. military set.
