Serial no. 833032. Manufactured in July 1918 by Remington Arms - Eddystone Plant, chambered in .30-06 Springfield, 26" round barrel marked “E/Flaming Bomb/7-18.” The bore shows light frosting in the grooves, while rifling remains strong and well defined. Rifle components are correctly marked “E,” indicating Eddystone manufacture. The finish is beginning to thin from age and service, while the stock remains in good condition with light handling impressions accumulated through military use. This example represents a solid late-war production rifle retaining the character and wear expected of a service-used veteran of the First World War.
